It’s that time of the year again and we’d like to say a big MERRY CHRISTMAS from all the team here at Gym72! Thank you to all of our clients support and effort throughout 2015. It’s been an incredible year and now lets look to make 2016 even better.

For those of you winding down for Christmas. Remember to keep on top of your exercise programme. Fitness never rests and it only makes it tougher if you let go between now and New Year. If you already have a goal in mind then start working on it now. Never leave until tomorrow something that can be started today. A healthy lifestyle is all about balance. If you over indulge then you need to step up your activity levels too.

Use Christmas as a time to catch up with family and friends. This doesn’t have to be done with a glass of wine in front of the TV. Walk and talk and get your steps done for the day. A good target of steps per day is 10,000. Easily achievable with a bit of focus and there are many free apps such as ‘Pacer’ for you to monitor your steps.

So remember that December is not an excuse to be lazy. But a reason to be more active. Have a great Christmas and New Year and see you all in 2016.
